Message:
With the blessings of my mentor, Swami Gurbachan Lal Ji
Maharaj, S.G.L. is dedicated to the service of mankind. It is
already providing medical facilities to the poor and needy
masses through Super-Speciality Charitable Hospitals at Garha
(Jalandhar) and Mustfabad (Kapurthala). As nursing is a noble
job, S.G.L. has ventured to flash the light on Medical
Education by starting a Nursing Institute to produce highly
skilled and trained professional nurses, who are able to serve
the humanity worldwide. I wish to make SGL Nursing College as
one of the premier institutes introducing new ideas, which
will translate the present competitive nursing environment and
requirements into super professionalism.
I can say that in SGL Nursing College Semi, Jalandhar we have
best teaching facilities through well trained staff, modern
infrastructure including hostel. The location was wisely
selected, best suited for study environment in a zone free
from pollution, noise and hustle-bustle. This place of
learning and knowledge will be greatly preserved and utilized
to the best satisfaction of students. I can assure that nurses
under training can surely feel proud to be part and parcel of
SGL.
Besides curricular activities we will also aspire to take care
in extra curricular activities, moral, character building and
spiritual aspects. Discipline oriented atmosphere will be
infused at SGL and high quality standard maintained in every
section of the institute.
I sincerely welcome and invite the students to join and be
empowered by the high quality education imparted at SGL
Nursing College where we groom them into perfect professional.

this venture a glorious example of state-of-the-art, the
best training institute of the region. The Institute is
Approved by PNRC & Indian Nursing Council and is
affiliated to Baba Farid University, Punjab.
Baba Kashmira Singh Ji, felt a keen desire to have a
feeder nursing training college for the Super-Speciality
SGL Charitable Hospitals already functioning in Jalandhar
and Mustfabad. These hospitals have 250 and 200 beds
respectively. There was a dire need to train nursing
students who would be professionals of the highest order
and efficient to face the challenges of the highly
competitive nurses society world wide. For this we have
the best teaching staff, well equipped library,
laboratories, audio visual room, spacious class rooms and
an eco-friendly infrastructure. We have a hostel which
provides mess facilities where the menu is nutrition based
for the healthy growth of hostlers.
‘Learn & Share Excel in Health Care” is our motto. Our
College building the eco-friendly environment and
magnificent resources, provide the students the perfect
ambience for learning and sharing their knowledge, to
become leaders in health care.
The hostel environment is set in a super blend of comfort,
peace and commitment to studies. Each room welcomes you to
relax and quench your quest for knowledge at your own
