admission form from the institute or by post on payment.
The admission form filled up must be submitted with all

Procedure for Selection in G.N.M. Course
Test for selection will be conducted on the subjects mentioned
in the box. The medium of test will be English. Questions asked
in the test will be from 10+2 standard. After the test there
will be an oral interview and candidates will be asked simple
questions e.g. Why they wish to join nursing profession, What
role a nurse plays in the society, in hospital, community,
country and worldwide. |

The applicants are required to obtain the prospectus with

Rs 200/- only. The admission form duly filled up must be
submitted with all relevant documents within the time limit. |

Submission of Application
Course Description :- |

1. |
Minimum and maximum age for the admission will be 17 yrs
and 35 yrs respectively. |
|
|
|
|
|
2. |
Minimum Education :- |
|
|
|
|
|
(i) |
10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferable with
science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) subjects with
aggregate of 45% marks. |
|
|
|
|
(ii) |
Those who have cleared 10+2, vocational A.N.M. course
(revised after 2001) from school recognized by Indian
Nursing Council. |
|
|
|
|
(iii) |
A.N.M. training :- i.e. 10+1 / yrs. training should also
have passed or 2 equivalent examination. |
|
|
|
|
3. |
The student shall be medically fit. A
medical check up of every student will be conducted by
skilled doctors. |
|
|
|
|
|
4. |
There will be an “entrance test” to be
conducted by S.G.L. Nursing admission committee which
the candidate has to pass. |
|
|
|
|
|
5. |
In addition to the above, admission
procedure can be laid down by concerned State Nursing
Council/Nursing Examination Boards (S.I.B.E., M.I.B.E.
and C.M.A.I.). |
