Facilities

SGL Nursing College provides World Class Facilities to it's Students through it's State-of-the-Art Training Campus. The Campus consists of Latest Infrastructure in terms of Teaching Aids, Lab Equipments, IT Systems & Up-to-date Course Information in context to the Changing World Patterns.

Excursions and Co-curricular activities

The students are regularly encouraged to organise excursions, trips and picnics to the places of historical, cultural, medical and religious importance. In big hospitals, medical research centres and specialized institutions, the students are required to observe the latest techniques innovated in patient’s care and teachings. The students willingly take part in co-curricular activities i.e. debate, declamation contest, paper reading contest, Rangoli, chart making contest, dramas, One act plays etc. The facilities for indoor and outdoor games are also provided. The students are also required to participate in the inter school / inter class competitions.

Library

The institute maintains a well stocked library. There is a good number of books on Nursing , Medicine, Surgery, Biology, Politics and Social sciences. A large number of magazines, text books, reference books, dictionaries, pamphlets etc. are also available. The latest issue of magazines on current affairs in politics and medicines are kept for the ready reference of the students. The study habit among the student is regularly inculcated. The audio-visual aids are properly kept and available for the students.

Laboratory

There are six labs in the institution, which are nutrition lab, demonstration lab, anatomy lab, community health lab, microbiology lab and computer lab. All these labs are fully equipped with the latest apparatus and gadgets required for demos and practicals.

Hostel

The institute has a modern type hostel with all facilities. Special attention is paid towards keeping the students happy and healthy. Special efforts are made to develop good habits, discipline and cultured behaviour among the students.
