ELIGIBILITY
CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO
A.N.M. COURSE
The annual examination for each year shall ordinarily be
held in the month of May/June on such dates as may be
fixed by the University. For failed/re-appear candidates,
a supplementary examination shall be held in the month of
November/December or on such other dates as may be fixed
by the university. The candidate for appearing in the
annual examination must have the following: |

Age: The minimum age
for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec of
the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age
for admission shall be 35 years respectively. |

2. |
Minimum Education:
The minimum educational requirements shall be the
passing of 10+2 class or central board senior secondary
education or a recognized equivalent public examination.
Subjects of study must be equivalent to those prescribed
by the CBSE for class XII. |

Medical Fitness:
Admission is subjected to satisfactory of medical
examination report. |
|
| |

Eligibility Criteria for Examination (A.N.M.)
On completion of practical examination, records are to be signed
by the tutor and countersigned by the Principal. |

A candidate
must have minimum of 80% attendance (irrespective of the
kind of absence) in theory and practical in each subject
in appearing for examination. |

2. |
A candidate
must have 100% attendance in each of the practical areas
before the award of completion certificate. |

|
Certificate will be issued on successful completion of
training requirement. Qualified A.N.Ms. have to be
registered by the State Nursing Councils under the provision
of the State Nursing Councils and Indian Nursing Council Act
as A.N.Ms., before joining services as a qualified Female
Health Worker and to practice as A.N.M. |
